Our Busy Bees room prepares children for school with a rich, play-based curriculum that builds literacy, numeracy, creativity and emotional intelligence in a warm and stimulating environment. As children approach school age, the Busy Bees room provides the perfect bridge between nursery and primary education. Following Curriculum for Excellence and the Realising the Ambition framework, our experienced practitioners deliver a balanced programme of adult-led and child-initiated learning. Children enjoy dedicated literacy and numeracy activities, STEM exploration, expressive arts, outdoor learning in our Forestry area and rich social interactions that build the confidence and skills they need to flourish in school. We also work closely with local primary schools to support smooth transitions.
