A relaxed space children love
The Bumble Bees room is where imagination truly takes flight. Two-year-olds are naturally inquisitive and energetic and our room channels that energy into rich creative, physical and social play experiences. Our Bumble Bees environment is carefully designed around the principles of child-led learning. Children are encouraged to choose their own activities, build friendships and develop independence in a nurturing setting. A dedicated art corner, water and sand play, role-play areas and outdoor exploration all feature prominently in the daily rhythm. Staff are skilled in extending children’s thinking through open-ended questioning, storytelling and collaborative play. Funded nursery hours for eligible 2-year-olds are also available through our North Lanarkshire Council partnership.
